Congratulations, Karen! I'll be emailing you shortly to notify you that you've won, and to get your mailing info.

Hope you enjoy the book.Hello from Ordinaryville, Arkansas. My sisters Cecil and Sue are here visiting for the afternoon. They brought Sonic*burger meals for dinner (lunch to you city-fied people) and we've spent an exciting afternoon channel surfing between The*Food*Network and The*Weather*Channel.

Exciting stuff, people.

We've been monitoring the weather because we're forecast to have storms and possibly tornadoes tonight. It's nearly 80F right now and the wind is gusting over 35 mph. The low tonight is supposed to be 44F and the high for Wednesday is 46F.

Now what do you think is going to happen?

Yeah.

So anyway, hope y'all are enjoying your day. Have a good one.

You are too funny, Diane! Our temp tomorrow is to be 79 and then cooling off to the 50s and then the 40s. March is tornado month for us, too, and I just hate it when that siren blows!!! It means to take cover as one has been spotted in the vicinity! I worry over my cats more than myself....

Your lunch sounded gooood!!!!!! I haven't even had my supper yet, let alone lunch! I've been stripping off wallpaper in my guest bathroom, getting ready to lay ceramic tile in there and paint. Tired of the wallpaper and being stuck to just using 2 colors for towels and rugs. It'll be 9 years in June since I bought this place, and I get tired of things...but then I also have to stay busy or go nuts! LOL

I hope you guys are safe.
My husband went today to put a windshield in for a man that had part of his house damaged in our storms the other weekend. He came back, called me and said that from now on that when they say get out we will. He said that there was a bus load of teenagers from Tennessee there with chainsaws clearing up trees for the neighborhood. That was great, but eye opening also. (at the amount of damage, and the fact that we have gone on with our lives and they are still dealing with the after effects.) eye opening.

Take care tonight and please be safe.

Sounds like a great day to me. Funny - I drove past a Sonic Burger place today and wanted to stop, but I had just eaten and couldn't justify it. We have tons of burger places near me, but the Sonic is almost an hour away. Haven't had Sonic since I was in Tennessee years ago.

I saw the heavy rain over at Karen's place. We had a couple inches of snow which lasted about 2 hours. But it's really cold! Sunny and cold.

The afternoon with your sisters sounds great and relaxing - and they brought dinner!

My sis and I are taking a trip this week-end. First time we've done that in a long, long time.

Hi Diane,
Congratulations to Karen :)
Your weather sounds most "unspringlike" We have glorious sunshine here today. (not a raindrop in sight, sigh)
Happy Wednesday!

Woohoo, so glad to hear that Karen is your winner:-) We are having really wild winds over here and our power was out for a few hours this morning. We're not used to winds like this over here, I thought our roof was going to blow off this morning! Praying that you stay safe over there and that the weather settles down. xoxo

I hope the weather hasn't been too bad in your "neck of the woods". Hang in there Diane!

I've never had Sonic, but I hear they make a terrific milkshake. :)

Your afternoon with your sisters sounds perfect - simple dinner and simple TV. Your weather, however, sounds crazy. Good grief, what a recipe for trouble. I hope it doesn't get too bad tonight.

Congratulations to Karen...so much fun to get a new book in the mail.

I hope the rest of your week is uneventful, especially weather wise. xoxo

You crack me up, Diane.

But I really need to know, if you country-folk call "lunch" dinner, then what do you call brunch? :-)

Hope the weather wont be that bad. In Norway we still have a lot of snow and a big snow fall yesterday.

Hope you'll have a splendid weekend with your visitors anyway!

Love and hugs from your Viking friend :-)

I am glad we dont have to put up with such crazy winds. WInd is the one weather type I hate. It annoys me to no end.
