Happy Blogiversary To Me!!!

Two years ago today, January 29, 2006, I created my blog and wrote my FIRST POST. Since that day I've come a long way, baby! Talk about green and ignorant! I don't know nearly everything there is to know about blogging, computers, html and all the technical side of blogging, but with the help of some of my family and some dear sweet blogging buddies over the last 2 years I definitely know more now than I did when I first dipped my toes in the bloggy waters.

This post is dedicated to all of YOU! Those who've taken the time to answer panicked emails, to offer help and advice, to encourage, and above all, to read my mindless drivel and still love me. This is for my dear family who read and comment from time to time. For those who read every single post I write and comment on every one. For those who read and comment occasionally. And for those who surf through looking for salsa recipes and Sunday Dinner ideas, among other (much!) stranger searches.

You ALL make blogging a pleasure and worth every minute I spend reading and posting. When I first started blogging I didn't have even a glimmer of a clue how many dear friends I would make here in Bloggityville and what a big part of my life it would become.

So grab a party hat and celebrate 2 years of blogging for Diane's Place!

Y'all are the best! Thanks, y'all. Here's to many more years of blogging pleasure. ;o)

Hi Dianne ~~ Congratulations on your
two year Blogiversary. Well done,
that's a good effort. I enjoyed your answers to the various memes. And I love reading about your baby granddaughter. Prayers for your sister, I hope she is doing well.
Take care, my friend, Love, Merle.

I think I started my AOL blog in 2004. I still don't mess with HTML, I just let 'er rip. I've sure made some Internet friends along the way, and still making new ones like you. Isn't it great?

Good Afternoon Diane,
"CONGRATULATION'S" and "HAPPY 2nd YEAR ANNIVERSARY" on your blogging. I remember when I first started blogging, I visited you first. I had seen you post on Ryan's blog and I clicked on your profile and saw where you lived, so I decided to click on it. I am so glad I did. "THANK YOU" for all of the help that you have given me over the past few months. I really apprciate it so very much. I'm still learning things and still have lots and lots of things to learn. Maybe by the time I hit my 2nd year Anniversary, I will know alot more. LOL. I always enjoy coming over here on Saturday nights and see if your cooking or not on Sundays. We are under a Tornado Watch until 7:00p.m. tonight. We have had alot of rain here since this morning. I bet we have gotten at least 3 inches or better. It has rained very hard and blowing rain as well. I looked out my front door earlier and if it keeps it up, I may have to get me a boat. LOL. Now, they are talking about some Snow again on Thursday night. NO WAY. We might see a flake or two, but I think it will do like it has in the past, just hop all around us. LOL. Take care my friend and have a great day. May God Bless You and Yours.

Love & Hugs,
Karen H.

Congratulations, Diane, on your two year anniversary of blogging. You have so much knowledge when it comes to computers and blogging, but it did make me feel better as a new blogger to have you say that you had to have lots of help when you first started. And I'm happy to tell everyone reading this how you have been so willing to help me anytime I had a question or a hugh problem that I didn't know how to solve. What goes around comes around and you have definitely passed your knowledge around to me, and I'm sure you have helped a lot of other bloggers as well.

You can be sure I will help others with what I have learned so far anytime anyone needs me.

Thank you, Diane, for being such a dear, sweet, caring and loving friend and one that I treasure.

I can't count how many times you came to my rescue to help me with my blog. Thank you for that.
Your Sunday dinners have inspired me many times and the thought of beans and cornbread still makes my mouth water and my belly growl!
Keep up the good work because we are going to keep on comming for visits.

Good Morning Diane,
It's not doing anything here right now either. It may be raining lightly, but that's about it. It's 32 degrees here as well. I don't even know why the NWS thought we should be under a Winter Storm Warning in the first place. Everything always goes all around us. I think sometimes I would make a better weather forecaster. LOL. I don't blame yall for not getting out if it does get bad. It's just not worth it. I see where they are having some School closing to the North and West of us already. Those lucky people. Take care my friend and have a great day. May God Bless You and Yours. I sure don't want to lose any power again. It was just awful the other night. If it was just me, it wouldn't be so bad, but it makes it harder on the girls because they can't do anything but just sit around. They sure don't like to do that. LOL.

Love & Hugs,
Karen H.
P.S. I'm glad Jessica missed those big trucks the other day. GOD IS GOOD, ALL THE TIME, GOD IS GOOD!!!!

Diane,

I am not a lover of winter or summer. Spring and fall are my seasons.

Expecting a bad storm tonight with snow and ice. Not pleasant for hubby who has to drive when he works.

Thanks for dropping by my blog and for encouraging Deena. It's much appreciated.

Blessings,
Mary

Congratulations on two years of blogging! You are doing a very good job with yours. I keep thinking that I should change mine as the original direction of it isn't being followed very well now so it is probably somewhat miss named for what it has become.
