New Template!

I know I turned blue while I was working on this new template because I caught myself holding my breath umpteen times as I was adding page elements and adding Java script and such. Whatever all that means.

I'll still be fine tuning this template for a while as I decide what works for me and what doesn't. I hope to change my header and background with the seasons and holidays. I've figured out how to crop my photos to the right size and add text so I should be able to make my own headers now.

Yahoo! I certainly haven't arrived when it comes to altering templates and writing Html but I've come a long way in the year and a half since I started blogging.

Y'all have a great Friday!

It looks great. I'd be lost. The last time I tried to strike out on my own, I zapped my blog.

I can do a little html but nothing to write home about.

And I don't even know exactly what Java Script does. I do know I have it.

Very nice new look. Good for you! I don't have a clue how to do all that changing. I call my daughter.

Looks great Diane! Very nice and fallish!

It's amazing how much you can learn in a short time, isn't it? I just started going into templates and trying to figure out what it all meant. It's kinda fun. Like a science. ;-)

Diane,
You did a wonderful job and it looks so fresh and inviting. I should take the time to figure out how to do this, because my template doesn't allow for changes.

Great Job!! Love that header with even the "fall edition" on it!!

I've played around some with this template on a practice blog...you can change the entire background color in fonts and colors...really cool!

Oh, it looks so nice! I wish I knew how to do it. I had an interview today for the perfect job. Pray for favor, please! It will be good for you to get the break you need, and get to be grandma, not just childcare. YAY!

Fabulous job Diane. I am so impressed. I wish I knew how to do all those creative things, but I am content to admire your work. I love the new look - so clean and bright and beautiful.

It looks wonderful! I am impressed that you figured it out. As MG said, I call my daughter! Good job.

I LOVE the pix of Grandpa and Miss Emmy taking a nap together. PRiceless! YOu will miss her, but the older she gets, the harder it would be on your body! Day care centers can pretty much call the shots on pricing, and you always have to pay, whether you're there or now. I know they have to do that, but it sure seems rough. I'm glad they're able to afford to do this. It will save lots of wear and tear on everyone.

What a great, nice, clean, readable and cozy new home you've made here in blogsphere - congrats! I really liked the Fall Edition picture too!

Wishing you and the family a great end to your week:-)

Mz Diane...you done good:-) I love the new header, it's perfect for this season!! I've learned how to change my background but haven't learned how to make my own header...have to work on that! lol Which program did you use to write the text on your pictures? Those pictures of Emmy with Lamar sleeping are just precious!! Poor little thing not feeling well after her needles:-( I'm glad that Jessica was able to find a day care center for Emmy...I know how much you loved having her but I also know how hard it was on you. Have a great weekend my friend! xox

I don't know girl, I am TOTALLY resistant to change!! I prefer to be stuck in a rut and in no way shape or form should you change a single color!!.......

Hi Diane ~~ Great new template - clever girl !! BUT I so loved your
Hydrangeas, so don't lose them and
pop them on once in a while.
Poor little Emmy ~~ that was a lot of needles in one day and sorry she was so sick. Nice that there is a day-care so near Jessica's work, and you will still see her weekends etc.
As far as my son's house, there are
four adults living there and they all work or go to University so it doesn't get too dirty, though Jo cleans madly and thoroughly.
Take care, Love, Merle.

LOVE IT! You did a great job!

I love my design, but I know I will want to change it at some point. I would love to be able to do what you have done. I also would like the ease of using the widgets. I have trouble putting things on my sidebar because of the html issue. You have inspired me to learn how to do some of these things!

LOVE,LOVE,LOVE IT!!
