Sunday Dinner, November 5, 2006 & Demon Blogger!

Glory Halelujiah! Praise be! I got my Sunday Dinner banner uploaded, now to see if Demon Blogger will let me upload a couple more pics after this. I am having some real issues with Blogger today and after emailing and reading the few comments I can view, I see nearly everyone is having problems with viewing comments and commenting on other blogs. I finally resorted to emailing some of my blogging friends to comment on their posts and complain about Blogger, so if you have anything you're just dying to share about my last post and this one, if you can't comment, email me. My email is on my profile, and here it is if you're too lazy to look it up, as I am sometimes:

lenadianejennings@yahoo.com

As for my Sunday Dinner, this week I'll be featuring my homemade chili. I'll make a big pot of chili and a big skillet of cornbread. I love hot and spicy chili, but some of my family won't eat it hot, so I'll tone it down for them, then add a big sprinkle of cayenne pepper to mine, maybe some Tobasco sauce or Louisiana Hot sauce.

Now for your Sunday Dinner plans. IF YOU CAN COMMENT, leave a comment sharing your plans for Sunday Dinner. If you're cooking, what's on the menu? Going out to eat? Where? What do you plan on having?

I apologize if you're not able to leave a comment. As I said earlier, Blogger is being a royal twit and not allowing comments right at the present. I hope it's fixed soon, because I feel like I have a gag over my mouth and earplugs in my ears, not being allowed to comment on your blogs and not being able to read your comments on my
posts. Grrrrr! I'll be glad when Blogger gets these issues resolved. All the constant problems Blogger is having is getting old...REAL QUICK-LIKE!!

XOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXO

I have a bake sale for our Women's Missionary Union at church tomorrow, and I made 2 Honeybun Cakes and Peanut Butter fudge to take. Here's a few pics. The fudge is on top, the Honeybun Cakes second. They're already sold, we just have to take what we sold and the ones who ordered our baked goods and candy will pick it up after church tomorrow. My house smells like cinnamon and peanut butter....More cinnamon than peanut butter, though.

As a bonus, I'll tell you that my Saturday Night Supper is going to be gourmet fare. I'm frying some polka kielbasa sausage for sandwiches, and making some fried green tomatoes. I love green tomatoes. This will be my first ones of the year, too. Yummy!! Done right that's some good eating, let me tell you.

Time to go cook my supper, so I'll wish each of you a great weekend, and my love and blessings to all...

Boy, if the blogger engineers knew how mad you are at them I'll bet they'd get busy, Diane! LOL

OK, it's just not fair for you to post photos like these things you made today. No fair. I can almost smell them.

Sunday dinner. Prime Rib. Yeah, I know. But we're going to Aaron's (Mandy's fiance) mom Jan's house for dinner tomorrow. It's Aaron's birthday and Jan is making a prime rib dinner.

I cannot STAND prime rib. At all. But maybe they'll give me a burned end piece. Otherwise, I'm looking forward to the baked potato.

The good news is I don't have to cook tomorrow! Hooray! I can make a couple of batches of pumpkin cookies in the morning (we're clean out of them) and call it good.

I'd give anything to share those fried green tomatoes with you.

Your fudge and honeybun cakes look mouth watering yummy! No wonder at all they're already sold!
I've been tempted to give blogger a piece of my mind it's been so fickle and nasty lately, but....IT IS FREE!
My Mom used to say that you get what you pay for, so in this case it's surely true!!!
Tomorrow's dinner:
Pot roast with carrots, onions and potatoes, salad, & corn bread. It's cool enough here that this type of dinner will taste yummy!

Blogger has been snippy off and on all week. I will never catch up on reading so I'm doing the ones I'm furthest behind on and proceeding from there.

Dinner tomorrow? Hubby back in hospital so it will be simple. Breakfast maybe? I planned that for Thursday but ending up with KFC instead.

Wow - I get to comment. I couldn't earlier today as you have obviously figured out!! I hate it when things don't work the way they're supposed to. When everything else fails, I tend to start hitting things :-) That doesn't usually work either.
Everything looks and sounds so delicious. You get my award for the best cook in bloggyville Diane.
Have a wonderful weekend and enjoy all that great food.

Your peanut butter fudge makes my mouth water! We used to make chocolate fudge and add peanut butter to the recipe.
We have had twi very stormy days. High winds and buckets of rain so I am thinking maybe a seafood chowder tomorrow. I have a housewarming to go to in the afternoon so want to eat light.

I'm going to hurry while it'll let me comment; I've tried a few times to no avail. We had pork tenderloin, salad, corn on the cob and garlic bread. Since we generally only eat twice on Sundays we can skip calorie watching for supper.

Good Morning D! Your chili and cornbread sounds excellent! And those cakes! Makes me mighty hungry to visit here on Monday mornings hon! I have never tried fried green tomatoes but always wanted to. Kielbasa I HAVE eaten and when done right they are heaven! There is a place in Lucas, KS that makes homemade sausages and kielbasa to die for! What a treat! We had leftover pork loin and sauerkraut and potatoes for supper. Mmmmm...good! Demon blogger has been giving me fits too! grrrr.

We ate at our favorite Chinese restaurant yesterday with our pastor and his wife, a visiting missionary, and her friends who drove her to our church. It was lovely, delicious, and I didn't have to cook for my whole gang.

Glad Blogger is cooperating today - must have wanted the week-end off!

I wonder how inappropriate it would be for me to SUE YOU for damaging my computer.

After taking one look at your menu, I salavated all over my computer. Saliva and circuitry don't mix well...

hello Diane,
Your side bar is always missing when I come to your blog so I cannot access your recipe blog. Your profile comes up but then disapears as well. did you post an easy cheese cake recipe a while back? I was going to check your reipes and noticed the side bar is never there anymore.
