A Very Early Sunday Dinner Post

I decided to go ahead and post my Sunday Dinner Meme for those of you who like to participate even though I won't be here. I'll be gone from Friday until late Sunday. I have no idea what I'll be having for Sunday dinner, but if you'd like to participate, just leave a comment telling me and everyone else what your plans are. If you're cooking, what's on the menu? If you're eating out, where, and what are you having?

Val asked about the recipe for my biscuits that are featured on my Sunday Dinner button. The recipe is on my Recipe Blog, and the link to the recipe is here. Scroll way down to find it.

Wishing everyone a great weekend. Keep everything going until I get back. Love and blessings to all.

LOL. I can't even begin to think what I'm making for dinner Sunday. All I know is it will be a big pot of something since that's about the most economical way I know to cook. Those biscuits are looking pretty darn good though.

I'm pretty sure whatever I come up with won't be as good as what you girls are having at your campsite this weekend. Y'all just really know how to rough it, you know?

Great pictures! Actually brings back memories of long ago days. I have to make it down there again someday.

About the trees you planted - at least you still get to see them!

Have another good camping trip.

Hi Diane, Hope you have a fun, relaxing weekend. I'm afraid I feel rather inadequate when it comes to cooking and sharing recipes. I think I'll just read your posts and get some new ideas.
I'll be gone next week - camping with my younger son and his family. I'll check back in when we get back.

Sunday Dinner, I was at church until 3 today, so I prepared lasagna ahead. When I walked in the door I put it in the oven, and took a nap while it baked.
I really thought a big pot of spaghetti, now you tell me, my kids will not eat spahetti, yet they will eat every scrap of lasagna. same idea mostly same ingredients... oh well we had lasagna, salad and french bread from the bakery. And left overs for tomorrow!!

We went camping too, and had pork sausages and mushrooms. Didn't have room for a starch, as we'd had a huge bowl of Asian noodles for lunch.

Hope you had a good time!
