One of my blogger friends from Singapore kindly sent me these enhanced pics. She used a photo editing program to put this lovely frame around this one to the left. You can see the "before" pic below in the previous post. I have at least 2 photo editing programs, but I haven't tinkered with them much. I really like the frame and background she chose for this one. Flowers are a favorite of mine, as you know if you read my blog much at all, :).
I like the one to the right, too. I may have to fiddle with my photo editing programs and see what I can come up with. Nashe, thanks for the pics, and thanks for the ideas, too. I might surprise you with what I come up with. Or horrify you, you never can tell with me, LOL. ;)

You friend did frame that nice. You should try to get the hang of those photo editing programs. You can really do some nice effects with them. Anything as simple as adding stars or borders, all the way to "fixing" scratched or faded pics. Isn't scanning fun? I borrowed my mom and dads scanner and brought it here. I'm too cheap to buy one. Well, too broke, actually. :-)

I know all about being broke, too. My BIL and sister, zztop, rebuilt this computer for me, my sister Ducky gave me the mouse and keyboard, and my scanner and printer came from two of my friends. :) I am blessed, truly. :)

Okay, I found it. I didn't know H. Box was her brother. I graduated with his daughter, Dana, and I know his wife very well, too. That makes me and Dana almost cousins, by marriage, ;).

Me thinks that Nashe has got a little skill when it comes to photo manipulation. It looks good. On top of that, it's a great way to add a sort of...well...contemporary look to some timeless pictures.
