I just visited boomama's site and looked at her adorable baby boy. Oh, the memories that brought forth. My baby is 18 years old now and about to graduate from high school. I can't wait to get a scanner for my puter so I can scan in some of her baby and childhood pics. I will put a couple of pics on here of her. They are some of her graduation proofs.
Just finished supper---fried pork steak, weinies and kraut, stewed potatoes and chicken and homemade dumplin's. Jessica and her boyfriend, Chris, and I are listening to her music (!) while I post this on my blog. It was only last week that I was changing her diapers and wiping her nose for her. Now she is (almost) old enough to have her own babies.............not that I am in hurry to be Grandma, but I will be ready when that time comes. This post is for Jessica------Mama Wuvs Her "ittle Baby.........

Jessica is a doll...and just as sweet, I'm sure. Is she going away to college or will she be nearby?
Loved the picture of you and your sisters, too. Very 70's and very groovy. :)
Oh, and pass the dumplin's, please.
Thank you so much, sister. Jessica will be going to Arkansas State University in Jonesboro, Arkansas. She has accepted a Dean's Scholarship, 4 years, and thank the good Lord, only 10 miles up the road from here. An answer to this Mama's prayers, I assure you, lol. Good Lord willing and the creek don't rise, the dumplin's will be on tomorrow's blog if not tonight. :)
Save me some of those dumplins, because I know deep in my soul that they're from scratch.
I know you are so proud of your baby - I bet she has a good head on her shoulders.
And I've watched MANY an ASU football game - they were on MSU's schedule for several years back in the 80's and 90's.
Yep, sister, they are from scratch, but they are super-easy, really. The hardest part is rolling them out, and that's not hard, either.
Jessica has wanted to be a clinical psychologist since 7th grade (don't know where that came from, honestly!!) so maybe she will stick with it. She will be the first of Mom's grandkids to graduate college if she makes it all the way through. This Mama is praying hard! :)
Oops, sorry, boomama. I just realized that I addressed you by your sister's name. I just assumed it was sister commenting again. :)
ok who the heck is "boomama"
