Update On Miss Emmy

Praise the Lord by Grant
Praise the Lord

Jessica called me early this morning and said that they took some biopsies of Emmy's bowel, but nothing obvious stood out as a reason for concern. Her doctor said pending results from the biopsies and other tests, he doesn't see anything to worry about.

Emmy may just have a sensitive system and should eventually grow out of the diarrhea. She's growing and putting on weight and is still within the healthy limits on the growth chart, so unless she develops more troubling symptoms there's nothing to worry about at the present time.

Praise the Lord! God is so good!

Thank you so much for your prayers and concern, dear friends.

Camping pics coming up later, but I wanted to share this news as quickly as I could. I went grocery shopping early this morning just after Jessica called and just got home, but I turned on the computer and got this update up as soon as I could.

Y'all have a blessed Wednesday. God has already gloriously blessed our Wednesday and beyond.

Love and hugs,

Diane

Glad Johnny called.I was listening in.I'm so glad things are alright. I will say Emmy takes after our side of the family.
I know Jessica and Jason are relieved.I bet Emmy was hungry when she woke up. I hope they had lots of snacks with them.

Diane - I had no idea about Emmy. I really don't like it when I have to be away for a few days. I'm so thankful, with all of you, that everything looks good.
She is such a little darling. A belated Happy Birthday to your beautiful daughter.
My Dad is home from the hospital. We are so thankful too. I'm looking forward to life getting back to normal.

Thank God for looking out for Emmy! As Jessica stated on her blog, "It was already in God's hands." I am happy that it was nothing serious and that all went well with Emmy's testing and anesthesia. She's such a little cutie...seems like we've all grown to love her through these blogs! God bless our dear little Emmy! Yes, God IS good!!!

Wonderful news, Diane. I hope her system settles down soon because I know this is worrisome, but it's great that her doctor thinks she's fine. The little ones can sure scare us half to death, can't they?

So glad to see this post. xoxo

That is scary...I saw "Emmy Update" and had to read on. I am happy to read that she is in the 'healthy growth range for her age'....sometimes the wee ones can scare the heck out of us. Hope she WILL outgrow this all.

That is great news, Diane. Prayer definitely works. I am so far behind in visiting that a wasn't aware Emmy was having problems.
