Emmy's Walking ! !

It's dark, gloomy, rainy and thunderstormy here today. A perfect day to loaf around, play games or nap the afternoon away.

Sue and Cecil are coming up for the afternoon and I have revival services at church tonight (and every night this week, as a matter of fact) so I'm just taking the time to upload some video of Emmy walking.

If you're sick of Emmy stuff feel free to move on without reading and commenting.

This video was taken at church on Monday night after services. I was sitting on the platform and Emmy was walking and jabbering. I will warn you, there is sound with this video so according to your preferences you may want to turn the volume up to hear it or down to avoid it. Your choice.

Emmy actually started walking on Sunday but I didn't see her until Monday. I just want to get this on my blog so I'll have a record of the date and video for later reference and to jog faulty memories if necessary. And knowing me, it WILL be necessary at some point in the future.

I'll be back tomorrow for the book tour and giveaway.

In the meantime, enjoy, y'all.

EDITED: I don't know why the second video looks blank, but if you click on the "play" button it works fine.

Yep..so cute...she's been walking all over the house this morning. And screaming at the top of her lungs. Church was great last night...really enjoyed it.. I gotta work tonight, Thursday, and Friday...and tomorrow don't know if I will make it because I will be in Memphis most of the day, plus, Jason will be gone tomorrow night. Love you and talk to you later

That is too precious. I had my grand-daughters this weekend and the 7mth old took her first step...but didnt want to try it anymore, (I think we all scared her by screaming, laughing and clapping) I dont blame her. I just love being a CG (cool granny or crazy granny, depends who you ask). Enjoy the revival. Tam

Diane,

I never tire of hearing about Emmy. I love watching babies take those first tottering steps. Thank you so much for sharing his Moment in Time with us.

Happy Earth Day

They change so quickly when they are young. Enjoy those moments and take as many photos as you can.

She's so cute! And did I hear her say "MOM" in the second video?

She's going to be a real handful once she gets steady on her feet. Enjoy!

A wonderful milestone Diane!!! She seems so little. I can't watch the videos (my dialup is just way to sloooow), but I can imagine how cute she looks.
Congratulations!

Omigosh how precious are those two videos...can't believe she's walking already, what an adorable little munchkin:-)Now that she knows she can walk, there won't be any stopping her! hehe Grandma ready to run after her??? lol

Oh wow, I just love Jessica's hair short like that, it really suits her!! I get so tempted to cut mine (at the back it's waist length) but then I chicken out! lol

I know what you mean about being so busy lately now that Spring is here...I've just spent hours raking the front and back lawns and cleaning out my faerie garden. Now I have blisters on my hands...phooey! lol I'm not able to visit everybody every day because of having other things to do and just enjoying being outside.

Take care of YOU!! Love ya! xoxo

Now the fun really begins! LOL

Adorable. I love it when they finally catch on about how to actually get from point A to point B. There's no stopping her now. :-)

I loved the videos, Diana. She is so cute and looks very proud of herself for accomplishing something new. I loved the part where at one point she decided it was easier to just crawl. Thanks for sharing that special moment.

Hugs,
Betty

Oh what sweetness! I just love those early steps and the joy that just wiggles all through them. The time has gone fast since she was born.

Oh what a doll! That girl can really move with her crawling, just wait till she masters her feet....

Well, Grandma, it's cute and adorable and all that, but as you well know, the honeymoon is over! You may need to pick up a new pair of cross-trainers. Think of the calories you'll be burning now, trying to catch her.
