A Question Meme

My blogging buddy MERIDITH has apparently invented the next big meme. In the interest of generating blog fodder she invited her readers to ask her any question they desired of her.

Lo and behold, BARB and her sister BEV have also jumped on the bandwagon and invited their readers to do the same.

Well now, I'm nothing if not original so I thought I would do the same here at my place.

Here's your chance. Got a question about me that's burning a hole in your pocket? Let 'er rip!

I can't imagine that there's anything left to wonder about me since I'm pretty open and outspoken here on the blog, but if there's anything you've always wanted to know about me but were afraid to ask, cut loose. I'll do my best to answer any reasonable question(s).

I don't think it's necessary to point this out, but just in case you don't know me as well as I think you do or you're new around here, please keep the questions G-rated and non-toxic. Tacky and goofy I can handle but nothing you wouldn't feel comfortable answering yourself.

This is all assuming there are questions, of course.

Okay, people, go forth and conquer, live long and prosper and all that good stuff.

I'll start. I know you've posted about health insurance and such. How's your health?

Feel like telling us your love story? I'd love to hear how you and Lamar got together! :o)

Diane,

What's your secret to your eternal optimism?

How's that for going deeper?

Too lame?

Maybe the answer is found in your "love story" with Lamar!

Whatever it is .....I must tell you how much I appreciate your positive attitude and hopeful presence in a world that is so cynical. Your authenticity is such a testimony especially because of your personal perseverance and optimism. Not everyone who struggles with health issues can remain so up beat! You make me want to have a cup of coffee with you each morning to set the mood for the day!

I have found some of your answer to that question within your blog.....you know Jesus, you are faithful to fellowship, you have a great family to surround you, you are a mover and a shaker, you are......Oh WAIT! I'm answering my own question!

;)

Just my first thoughts....to your really fun, if not original Meme!

Diane,

I'm am going to get a little more personal and ask when you asked Jesus to be your personal Savior and how that experience changed your life. There should be a story here.

Blessings,
Mary

Mightymom, I love your question. LOL

You know what I love about you Diane? I love it that you say things like "let 'er rip!"

I swear, I don't know what to ask you. I had one question in mind and then Lisa beat me to it. I think, if memory serves me correctly, you've answered that question many moons ago, but I know all your readers want to know the story behind your fabulously successful marriage and like most of us, don't have time to spend hours digging through archives.

So let's see. My heart is telling me to ask you a personal question. So I want to know how you've borne the loss of both your parents, especially because I believe they passed away pretty close together, like within a year of each other or maybe even months? I truly want your input on this because I still have both my parents and although I've lost a brother, I cannot bear the thought of losing my parents.

I'm glad you jumped on the train and decided to do this. xoxo

I can't think of any specific questions- you've answered most of them over the time I've enjoyed reading your blog. I appreciate that you are a fellow camper although we do it a little differently.

I can't think of anything I want to ask you about yourself, Diane, but I would like to respond to the comment you left on my blog today.

You may only be 5'3" tall, but you are still a beautiful person inside and out.

Have a wonderful evening, Diane

Oh hon, I got several but will narrow it down to this...Who in your life has been the most inspiring person? Your rock? You seem like a rock to so many people, who have you looked to or drawn from( living or deceased) for guidance and strength? Besides our Lord & Saviour. Loveya, Jen

I want to do this, too, but right now I'm too involved with those little twins - and trying to finish up the Kona story!

But I'm definitely going to do this one. I am looking forward to the answers to these questions others have asked - all things I'd love to know, too. What a great way to have a lot of blogs lined up ahead! I loved the old stories you used to tell when we first "met".

Good Morning Diane,
Burrrr, yes it's cold outside this morning. When I first got up at 4:30a.m. and when I first started on my post it was 21 degrees. I have noticed it has dropped to 19 degrees. I figure it may drop another degree or 2 before the Sun comes up. I have plenty of coffee, so have a cup with me. You sure are up early this morning. I just got off the phone with DH and he is about an hour away from St. Louis and he told me he was bringing me some Snow. LOL. He said the trailer has alot of Snow on it. He did say it was dirty tho. I said is there enough for a Snowman or Snowball? He said there was enough for a Snowball and also it was too dirty to eat. Dagnabit. LOL. I want some Snow Cream so bad. LOL. Maybe I can throw a Snowball at him when he gets home. LOL. Hmmmm, I'm like Tammy, you have been pretty open here on your blog. I can't think of a question right now either. If I do think of one, I guess I can come back as ask. Sorry that your still fighting that crud. That stuff doens't want to go away. I noticed our youngest daughter last night starting to get a stopped up nose. We have to be out in this cold tonight and possibly tomorrow morning as well. Well, I guess I'll go for now. I have to get the girls up in a bit. Take care my friend and have a great day. May God Bless You and Yours.

Love & Hugs,
Karen H.

Yay! You're doing this too!!

Okay...I have two questions for you.

What is your most favorite place you've ever traveled to?

And since you're the cooking queen, what products/brands are you most loyal to?

Have fun with this...it's endless blog fodder, I tell ya!

Diane, How many of your family members live in the same town you do? It seems like you are always having family over for Sunday dinner... Most all of my family live here in Houston but my husbands family is all spread out. (Florida, Hawaii, Washington state, New York and Geneva.) I love having my family so close.
