I'm Gonna Bite The Bullet.....!

****UPDATE****
I MADE THE SWITCH, AND SO FAR ALL SEEMS
TO BE WORKING AS IT SHOULD BE.
I'M OFF TO EXPLORE A LITTLE.
I'LL KEEP YOU POSTED IF ANY GLITCHES
OR PROBLEMS SURFACE.
THANK YOU, LORD FOR THE SMOOTH TRANSITION!!

I just heard from my template designer, and she says I should have no problems switching over to the new Beta Blogger. So I have copied and pasted my templates and some of my favorite posts and I'm going to try to make the switch. I'll try to post when I get this all switched, but if I have any problems it might be a while before I can post again.

A couple of blogger friends tell me they tried to switch when prompted on their dashboards, but Beta Blogger wouldn't switch over for some reason. I may encounter that as well and nothing will change for the moment.

If you're a praying person, say a little prayer for me, please. I hope to be back and posting in just a little while. If all goes well I'll update this post as soon as I can. If it all goes to Hades in a handbasket, I'll be back as soon as I can, sobbing and twitching.

Here goes nothin'........

Please do let us know how it goes for you and if you really see any advantages to the new system. I do not have the time right now to even try to work with it. When and if I have to switch I may well go to a WordPress blog.

Well. It's the day after and it looks like you survived the dreaded switch.

Congratulations are in order...

Diane, you were way smarter than I was; I didn't even think about asking Susie if my template would be affected! (Good thing it wasn't!!)

Congrats on the switch:)

Good for you! As I told you yesterday, I got an error message when I tried to switch. I don't know if I'll be able to work up the nerve again..
Do you see any advantages so far??
((hugs))

Good for you, Diane. And thanks for going first. I'm not quite so afraid to switch now.

Thank goodness it all went smoothly. I can't bear the thought of you sobbing and twitching!

I emailed Susie months ago, when beta first appeared, and she told me to go ahead. Months ago! Am I a big chicken or what!
