Sunday Dinner, May 9, 2010

Hello, all. As this Sunday is Mother's Day here in the U.S. I won't be cooking Sunday Dinner this week. As usual when I'll be eating out for Sunday Dinner, I have no idea where I'll be going for the noon meal. My sisters and I will decide where we're going to eat after church is over at noon.

Lamar is spending the day with his Mom and taking her out to eat for Mother's Day. He'll go to church with her on Sunday morning then they'll decide where they're eating Sunday Dinner.

JESSICA
and Emmy are going to church with me on Sunday morning but she's not sure what she's doing for Sunday Dinner. Jason may or may not be with them, and they may or may not be going to Jason's Mom's on Sunday afternoon.

Don't you just love how decisive we are?

What are your plans for Sunday Dinner on this Mother's Day? Share your menu/plans in the comments if you'd like to participate this week.Saturday was Emmy's 3rd birthday, as difficult as that may be to compute. It just doesn't seem possible that it's been 3 years since she was born, but it's true.

Jessica and Jason had a party for Emmy at a local steak and buffet restaurant and invited some of the family . They reserved a small banquet room and bought her a Disney*Princess Castle cake for the adults and a smaller Princess cake just for Emmy, and she really dug into it.

Three is such a fun age for birthdays, and Emmy thoroughly enjoyed hers and got lots of nice gifts.

Jessica took this pic of me and Emmy at her birthday party. :o)Jessica also took this pic of us in the car as
we were leaving Emmy's birthday party.I want to wish Jessica a very happy Mother's Day,
and also to all my family and dear friends who are mothers.

Happy Mother's Day, Mama. I love you and miss you every day.

Y'all have a wonderful and blessed Lord's Day.
May God meet all you needs and
may you have enough to share, dear family and friends.

Diane, hope you have a great Mothers Day, no matter where you end up... It is sweet of Lamar to be with his mom every Mothers Day... You never know how much longer she will be here on this earth and it is good to show your love while you can....

It IS hard to believe that Miss Emily is 3 years old... She is growing up so fast... My grand daughter will be 5 in July...

Well, have a great Mothers Day...

We went out to eat just to prove "Mother Knows Best". My mother always insisted that we eat at someone's home or at her home and we could bring potluck but we would never go out to eat on Mother's Day. It is definitely the busiest restaurant day of the year and our long stand in line proved that. But I enjoyed no cooking or dishes to wash more than I minded standing in line.

We had a most unusual Mother's Day week-end. Come on over and read all about it!

Hi Diane, a belated Happy Mother's Day and hope Miss Emmy had a wonderful time on her birthday. She is at the right age to begin pre-school, eh?
