A Cry For Prayer For Amy Wilhoite & Elise & Her 3 Boys

ANOTHER UPDATE: BooMama left an update on her blog about Paul. He went to be with the Lord earlier tonight. Please be much in prayer for Elise and their 3 boys. God Bless them.

UPDATE: Since I posted the prayer request below, I visited BooMama and read this. Please visit BooMama's blog and leave her an encouraging comment, and if you will be in prayer for her friends Paul and Elise, let her know that, too. This is a very grave and serious situation, and Paul's life hangs in the balance. Even if he lives, their lives will more than likely be changed forever, and they have 3 little children. As I said in the prayer request below, God is sovereign and is able to do great and mighty things through our prayers. Let's fill the heavens with our prayers, y'all. Thanks in advance, friends.

I saw this prayer request at Barb's and I just came from there. Fellow Christian bloggers, here is a young wife and mother who has just been diagnosed with leukemia. She was only diagnosed in the last month, and she's already on her second series of chemotherapy drugs. Her faith is astounding. I visited to leave her a note of encouragement and tell her I was praying for her, and I left being encouraged and in awe of her faith in God and her strength. Please visit and leave her a comment to lift her up, and if you're so inclined, let her know that you'll also lift her up in prayer. Also, many of my visitors have a much larger readership, and if you feel this is a worthy cause, please post about Amy on your blog so we can get as many praying for her as possible. I have seen God work through our blogs before, using them and us to bring glory to HIM, and answering our prayers. I know Momrn2 can testify to the power prayer, as well as Sarah and many others. Let's lift up Amy in prayer, y'all, and to GOD be the glory. You can visit and comment on her blog here.

Diane,
I just went over to Amy's and left her a comment. Such a lot to bear at a tender age.
I'll be praying...

Amy's story is so moving and yet so inspirational. Thanks for linking her here. This young mom can use all our prayers so the more of us who link her in our posts, the better. Thanks, Diane.

My thoughts, too, Barb. No thanks needed, it's the right thing to do, and my pleasure to do. :-)

My prayers will be with Amy for God's help in overcoming this challenge. Medical science is a lot better than it was just a short time ago and the survival rate from lukemia has gone up a lot. I hope she is one of those who does beat the disease.

Hey Lady Di,

Thank you for not losing sight of the "least of these"; during their struggles. You've got a heart of pure gold and a spirit to match. I think that God is very pleased with you.

My prayers go out to the family...
