7 THINGS ABOUT ME....MEME

***2 NEW SETS OF RECIPES
ON MY RECIPE BLOG.....BE SURE TO SCROLL
DOWN FOR THE SECOND SET***

Nashe tagged me several days ago for this meme, while I was still in the midst of my computer confusion. I'm just now getting around to doing it, but better late than never, I suppose. ;-) I have been fooling around with some of the software on the new hard drive and made that nifty badge over there. I made up several, so I will have some handy, and it's not that hard to do, so I can always customize new ones for different occasions or subjects.

Also, I don't really have anything I'm dying to post about, so this works for now. :-)

I love this, Diane, because you're officially BACK! I'm impressed. I know the agony of transferring everything to a new computer. And you've never once griped.

Tornados just scare the living daylights out of me. OK, so I live in western Colorado, sooo western I'm eight miles away from Utah, but...my Dad lives in Kansas and as you know Dorothy had a little problem with a tornado. I can't believe tornados don't scare the beejeebs out of you.

So now I have a meme.......thanks, I think...but I'll give it a go.

Thanks, Diane, for tagging me ... I will work on it, and post soon. We have some things in common ... I love to read, I love animals, I love music, I'm scared of earthquakes (and I'm terrified of tornadoes, too !). I love lightening, it is so beautiful.
Hope you have a great weekend.
Take care, Meow

We don't have full size tornados out here that ever seem to do much damage but sometimes dust devils can be problems. While we were away from our RV with it parked in a RV park in Yuma, AZ in Feb, 2004, one blew through the campground. Our awning was out to shade the rig so it doesn't get so hot. The dust devil tore about 1/3rd of it from the rig forcing us to replace it to the tune of a bit over $1700.

We also have earthquakes. In fact they tell us there will sometime be a really big one when a couple of plates under the water slip one under the other, bigger than any have been in the last few hundred years anywhere. We also have volcanos, some of which are still active.

I guess all areas of the planet have some potential problem causing things and we just have to learn to live with them.
